Silicone Hose, 1 1/2 x 1 1/8 inch ID Straight Reducer

Our silicone hose is built for endurance and performance in custom coolant and intake plumbing applications. Each hose is hand-crafted from multiple layers of silicone rubber with polyester reinforcing fabric between the layers. The silicone rubber remains flexible and tough from -50° C to +180° C (-76° F to 356° F). The outside has a smooth, shiny, "wipe down" finish that is easy to keep clean.

These straight reducer hoses are approximately 5 inches long overall. The 38mm ID at one end and 28mm ID at the other end let you connect a 1 1/2" OD tube to a 1 1/8" OD tube. The 3-ply reinforcement results in a 4.5mm wall thickness (47mm / 1 7/8" and 37mm / 1 1/2" OD) and a working pressure rating over 35 psi (175 psi burst pressure). Use with our Aluminum Splicing Nipples (Part No. HJ38 and HJ28) and Lined Hose Clamps (Part No. 3613-2.25 and 3613-2.00) to construct the exact bends and lengths you need.

Note: This hose is NOT formulated for use in oil or fuel plumbing applications. It will survive occasional spills and oil leaks, but it will not stand up to continuous exposure to petroleum.
