1980: Our first printed auto parts catalog is mailed. It is hand-typed and lists a handful of specialized parts.
1986: As our reputation for quality customer service grows, so does our business. This year's 34-page catalog boasts over 250 new items.
1990: Silicone coolant hoses first appear in our catalog. Our initial offering includes the entire manufacturer's line: 2 basic shapes and 9 sizes, all in Blue.
2005:Thanks to a new silicone hose supplier, our 2005 catalog lists 90 part numbers for silicone hoses: 7 shapes, 13 sizes, still all in Blue.
2008:As the silicone hose business grows, we expand our warehouse to make room for more inventory.
2010:The growing popularity of silicone hose becomes a mixed blessing, leaving our suppliers struggling to keep up with increased demand.
2013:A new direct partnership with one of the world's leading silicone hose factories allows us to offer a dozen different hose shapes, in sizes from 13mm to 152mm (1/2" to 6"), finally in 3 colors.
2014:Our first full-container shipment of silicone hose brings $500,000 USD of silicone hoses to our dock direct from the factory.
2018:Fuel-safe silicone hoses (silicone with fuel-resistant FKM rubber lining) are added.
2022:High-pressure and high-temperature CAC (Charge Air Cooler) hoses arrive. Silicone hose now represents nearly half of our auto parts business.
2024:SiliconeHoseHQ.com is born.
