Silicone Hose, 2 3/4 x 2 1/2 inch ID Straight Reducer

Our silicone hose is built for endurance and performance in custom coolant and intake plumbing applications. Each hose is hand-crafted from multiple layers of silicone rubber with polyester reinforcing fabric between the layers. The silicone rubber remains flexible and tough from -50° C to +180° C (-76° F to 356° F). The outside has a smooth, shiny, "wipe down" finish that is easy to keep clean.

These straight reducer hoses are approximately 5 inches long overall. The 70mm ID at one end and 63mm ID at the other end let you connect a 2 3/4" OD tube to a 2 1/2" OD tube. The 4-ply reinforcement results in a 5mm wall thickness (80mm / 3 1/8" and 73mm / 2 7/8" OD) and a working pressure rating over 20 psi (100 psi burst pressure). Use with our Aluminum Splicing Nipples (Part No. HJ70 and HJ63) and Lined Hose Clamps (Part No. 3613-3.50) to construct the exact bends and lengths you need.

Note: This hose is NOT formulated for use in oil or fuel plumbing applications. It will survive occasional spills and oil leaks, but it will not stand up to continuous exposure to petroleum.
