Gates PowerGrip SB86 Clamp for Hose O.D. 3-1/4 to 3-1/2

Revolutionary Gates PowerGrip SB hose clamps eliminate the need for screwdrivers -- and even the need for retightening! The special heat-shrink polymer sleeves create a tight seal with uniform pressure all around your hose, even if the fitting is out-of-round. PowerGrip clamps resist loosening throughout repeated heat cycles, making them maintenance-free. They eliminate a lot of metal and sharp edges under the hood. On top of all that, they look super-trick!

This size fits hoses measuring 3 1/4" to 3 1/2" 83mm to 89mm) OD -- be sure to measure your hose OD after installation! This size is recommended for our 2 3/4" (70mm) ID silicone hose when used with our HJ70 hose joiner. Works with OEM molded rubber hoses or any brand of silicone hose. 1 1/2" (38mm) nominal width. To install, slip the PowerGrip clamp collar off of its cardboard sleeve* and slip it over your hose. Install the hose over the barb and slide the PowerGrip clamp over the barb. Use a standard heat gun to shrink the clamp tightly over the hose, and you're done!

* Keep the PowerGrip clamps on their cardboard sleeves until just before installation so that they don't begin to shrink prematurely. Crush the cardboard sleeve to let the clamp slip off. Do not try to cut the cardboard sleeve.
