This silicone rubber air intake hose is custom-made to fit the Land Rover Defender 90 and Defender 110 (1993-97 NAS vehicles only with 3.9L / 4.0L V8 EFI engine). The original hose is thin and brittle and tends to crack if you remove it for service, but Land Rover stopped making their ESR1316 hose years ago.
Our heavy-duty replacement hose is constructed of heavy-wall silicone (more than 3/16" thick) with 4 plies of fabric reinforcement for extra toughness. The silicone rubber remains flexible at temperatures from -60°C to +180°C (-76°F to +356°F) and will not crack under normal use. This great-looking hose is black with a smooth, shiny "wipe-down" finish.
Our complete kit even includes two of our special Lined Hose Clamps for trouble-free installation.

This is the perfect replacement hose to that head scratching, forehead slapping, jaw dropping sorry excuse of an air hose that escaped the bowels of hell from the Land Rover factory. Trust me. I'm a retired 27 year veteran LR tech and I'm so glad to see a piece like this to end struggling with the crumbling OEM hose on my own D90. Thanks!

Kept getting errors related to fuel air, the old hose is no longer available so this was a good option. Fitting was good, not great, took some fiddling but ultimately it looks good and the errors have all gone.
